We would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves: we are
Gerda and Kees van Garderen.
We’re formerly from the Netherlands, our last place of residence
being the beautiful little city of Wijk bij Duurstede.
Gerda is a former teacher at the Bartimeus Institute in Doorn.
She enjoys handicrafts, cooking and puts a lot of tender loving care into our large garden.
Kees was head of the campground activities department of a Dutch youth organisation in Driebergen.
He also studied to be an innovation consultant. Music is quite a passion of his
and he is currently the organist of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Szczyrk-Salmopol.
These days they share a common hobby, namely running their guest house!
Together with friends we ran a campground for a Polish organisation several years ago.
That was how, in November 2001, we made Poland our new place of residence.
This, and the running of a guest house for another organisation gave us a good amount of experience.
So now, with the purchase of Villa Kotlina, we have even more possibilities
